SKTTDI1 and SMKDU in UPM Demo Day on Star News Article 2016

Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Tun Dr Ismail (1) and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Damansara Utama has completed their Big Demo Day, organised by Brain Bytes and University Putra Malaysia (UPM). It was held at the University Putra Malaysia (UPM) on the 19th April 2016.

The Young Chief Engineers did a really good job on presenting their Pedestrian Crossing and the Intermediate Engineers on their ‘Merry Go Round’ models to a crowd of attendees in UPM’s Computer Science Faculty lecture hall.

Pn Raja Azlina Mahmood was asking the young engineers questions on their models and the students responded professionally. Lecturers of University Putra Malaysia were utterly impressed by the students hardwork!

A very special thanks to Dr Thinagaran Perumal from University Putra Malaysia & IEEE Consumer Electronics Society for attending and giving us, the schools and Brain Bytes the opportunity to run the Big Demo Day! Also, a very special thanks to Mr John Tay (Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission director) for attending the Big Demo Day as well! Mr John Tay says that is a good platform for universities, schools and industries to work together. He also says that it is a good platform to nurture the younger generation.

Overall, the young engineers are overjoyed with their hardwork and are looking forward to more upcoming challenges! Congratulations to the winners who’ve won!

A very big thank you to the Star Publication press for featuring us!
