Items required:
1. Wet sponge
2. Scissors / plastic knife
3. Pencil
4. Eraser
5. Ribbon (any color of your choice)
6. A3 size art block / art paper
7. Fischer TiPs (2 key colors of your choice)
Step-by-step on Bunny’s Ears
1)Start by drawing the bunny ears on to the A3 Size art block / art paper and cut it out as shown below.
Good to give a rough indication of the ear measurements in terms of length and height – e.g. 4cm (L) x 24cm (H).
2) Take the Ficher TiPs (first color of your choice) and cut it in half (vertically – from top to bottom) with a plastic knife / scissors.
3) Paste the Fischer TiPs (first color of your choice) that you’ve cut half on the inside layer of the Bunny’s ears. Do the same for the other part of the ears too.
4) Once done, cut another Fischer TiPs (second color of your choice) and cut it in half with a plastic knife / scissors (vertically – from top to bottom).
5) Paste the Fischer TiPs (second color of your choice) that you’ve cut half on the outside layer of the Bunny’s ears. Make sure you leave a 3 cm space at the bottom of the ears. Do the same for the other part of the ears too.
6) Now, paste the same color of the Fischer TiPs on the Bunny’s ears to add the second layer as shown below. Do the same for the other part of the ears.
7) Next, paste the same color of the Fisher TiPs also on the back side of both the Bunny’s ears (do not need to add second layer).
8) Once done, place the ribbon (ensure the ribbon is long enough to tie around your head from top to bottom under your chin) at the bottom of the Bunny’s ears where the 3 cm empty space is.
9) Then, fold the white empty spacing together with the ribbon inwards. You will need to fold it inwards towards the back of bunny ears twice.
10) Repeat steps 8 and 9 to continue the same for the other part of the Bunny’s Ears as well.
11) After doing that folding the empty space and ribbon together, paste some Fischer TiPs at the bottom of the Bunny’s ears so that the ribbon will be in place and would not fall off. Do the same for the other part of the Bunny’s ears.
12) Next, cut the cardboard / foam board into two small pieces of rectangular and paste it with the double-sided tape on the two small pieces of rectangular. Once done, paste the two small pieces of rectangular at the bottom of both the Bunny’s ears.
13) Tadaa! Your ‘eggcellent’ Bunny’s ears is complete! You can wear it and have fun with your family and friends on Easter Day!
Happy Blessed Easter!
