Terms and Conditions
Educational Tools or Products: The main tools or products used are Fischertechnik and Fischer TiP. These tools or products are made and imported from Germany.
Promotions: Brain Bytes will be providing offers and promotions throughout the year for it’s promotional products.
For Product Demo Sessions or Classes, this session is normally no longer than 30 minutes in duration. The objective of these sessions or classes are mainly to showcase our weekly lessons or products used and is not intended to act as a substitute for any of the weekly workshops or classes.
Dispute(s): In an unlikely event of a dispute, Brain Bytes reserves the right of final decision on the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions.
Program Times: Courses are conducted in sets of 10 lessons. In a year, there will be up to 4 sets of lessons.
Unless otherwise indicated, our workshop program runs weekly except school holidays and public holidays. There are 4 x 1 hour for Junior Engineers, 4 x 1 hour for Junior 3D Artist Program, 4 x 1.5 hour lessons for Intermediate Engineers in every month. In the event there are only 3 weeks in that month, it will automatically be replaced in another month which has 5 weeks of lessons hence no replacements will be made unless necessary.
Tuesday and Thursday classes will need to be filled with 20 students first in order for Saturday classes to commence. For Saturday classes to commence, there will also need to be 20 students signed up for the Saturday class.
Deposit: 50% of course fees (Refundable upon completion). For example, if the course fees are RM400, RM200 deposit is required to be paid upfront prior to the first lesson. This deposit is a one time payment, refundable upon completion of any of the 10 week programs.
Payments: Registration is not complete until full payment has been received. Payments for the 10 weeks need to be made at least 7 working days before the first lesson of each 10 week lesson.
Refund Policy: No Refunds. In fairness to all participants, confirmed participants who do not attend are liable for the entire fee.
Program Changes: An event may be cancelled by us prior to the scheduled start if there are not enough registrants or due to circumstances beyond our control including ‘acts of God’ and world events.
Should the event need to be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, there will be no compensation for any expenses incurred by the registrants. In these circumstances, the event will be rescheduled for the same or similar location as soon as possible.
Students need to be responsible for their attendance, no replacement classes will be provided if any cancellations are made by student.
Special Needs: If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, special needs or a handicap, that needs special attention; please inform us through email 14 days prior to the workshop. We will arrange to meet the needs of those with dietary restrictions in our food preparation when advance notice at time of registration is given.
Workshop Materials: Include workshop facilitation, any training materials required, and healthy snacks.
Location: Young Engineer and 3D Creative Arts programs will be run in students respective participating schools.
However, the S.T.E.A.M. school holiday workshops will usually be held in Brain Bytes office in Dataran Prima, Kelana Jaya or in participating schools. Registrants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the workshop location. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided to participants in our office venue only.
Competitions (Local & International) : While Brain Bytes and affiliated parties will do their level best to ensure that everyone enjoys the trip and returns safely, all parents and individuals are responsible for their own well being. Brain Bytes will not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses in any form throughout the visit.

I hereby grant Brain Bytes the absolute right and permission to publish, copyright and use pictures of me in which I may be included in whole or in part, composite or retouched in character or form taken during the workshops.

Super Cool Books (SCB)
Terms and Conditions
Products: Products are sold on a first come first served basis and until stocks lasts only.
Payments: Products will only be handed over to customers who have made full payment. For cheque or online payments, these payments must be cleared first. Method of collection of these books are for customers to pick up from us only. Special arrangements such as delivery can be made but cost needs to be born by customers.
Refund Policy: No Refunds. Customers must notify upon receipt of the hardcopies in an unlikely event of a damaged book. We will replace the book with a new one in that situation. We will not be responsible for books damaged during delivery as the deliverer is in charge of delivery.
